Biography
Dr. Ayine Nigo serves as the Lead Advisor to the Board and Head of External Relations for Veterans for Community Resilience and Peace (VCRP). In this executive capacity, he provides high-level strategic counsel to the Board of Directors while driving international diplomacy, board governance, and global stakeholder engagement across government agencies, development partners, and leading academic institutions.
An accomplished academic and leader with specialized expertise in economics, quantitative methods, policy formulation, and research, Dr. Nigo bridges rigorous academic insights with practical, high-impact community solutions. His work focuses on cultivating transformative international partnerships and expanding organizational visibility to advance sustainable economic resilience, peacebuilding, and long-term development for veterans, youth, and underserved communities.
