Biography

Mr. Dennis Lemi is a dedicated leader, maintenance professional, and community advocate with more than 18 years of experience in public service, security, facility maintenance, and organizational leadership. His career reflects a strong commitment to professionalism, integrity, and serving both his community and the organizations he represents.

Mr. Lemi proudly served in the United States Army from 2006 to 2012, where he developed exceptional leadership, discipline, and problem-solving skills. Following his military service, he built an extensive career in the security industry, serving with G4S Security from 2012 to 2020 and Allied Universal Security from 2020 to 2024.

He currently serves as a Maintenance and Repair Technician with the Omaha Housing Authority in Omaha, Nebraska, where he is responsible for maintaining residential facilities, diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring safe, efficient operations for residents and staff.

Beyond his professional career, Mr. Lemi is deeply committed to community service and organizational development. As Chairman of the Pojulu Board of Directors, he has demonstrated effective leadership by coordinating board activities, promoting strategic planning, strengthening organizational governance, and supporting initiatives that benefit the South Sudanese community. His dedication to peace, justice, and community empowerment makes him a respected leader and mentor.
